About the Department


B.Com course, to acquire knowledge and understanding of the concepts, techniques and practices of corporate accounting. To develop the conceptual and practical skills of the students aimed at the intellectual pursuit of knowledge of commercial practices. To help the methods and process of commerce and accounting in every area of business activities. To expose them to the areas of application of knowledge in business firms and industrial organizations.

Program Objectives and Outcomes

  • ✓  To encompass the desirable knowledge of business and corporate laws and its applicability in business finance and audit.
  • ✓  To satisfy educational entrance requirements of relevant professional bodies and its accounting.
  • ✓  To become an entrepreneur rather than job seekers in the employment market by drawing the project report and identify the funding agencies.
  • ✓  Apply the technological advancements in the field of accounts, commerce, web designing, banking and marketing.
  • ✓  Make them to practice for filing the income tax returns and to claim the deductions and exemptions as per IT Laws.
  • ✓  To know the GST proceedings and present tax liability of our country tax plan.
  • ✓  To develop a broad range of business skills and knowledge to meet the current and future expectations of business and industrial sectors.
  • ✓  Students will be able to pursue professional courses like CA, ICWAI, CMA, and ACS courses.
  • ✓  Students will able to ready for the employment in functional areas like accounts, executive, insurance, advisors, sales representative and financial consultant etc.
