Our college proudly participated in the *Kalaingar Centenary Speech Competition* on August 18, 2024, an event dedicated to fostering young orators. With over 100 students showcasing their eloquence and insight, the competition was a resounding success. Two of our students triumphed, winning ₹10,000 in cash, a shield, and certificates, all presented by the DMK Youth Wing. Every participant received a certificate  and award, celebrating their dedication and effort in this prestigious event.

It was on 10.02.2024 that RRC & NSS students under the patronage of St. Joseph college of arts and science for women, pagalpatty organized an Road Safety awareness rally. More than 60 RRC & NSS students participated in the rally.    The rally was organized to create an awareness on the rapidly growing road accidents among people. The rally was flagged off by sub-inspector of police,  Omalur, Rev. Sr. Dr. Antony Maria Jansi, the secretary, Dr. A. Ameer the Principal and Rev. Sr. Regina, the Vice Principal of the College.

The convoy of rally started from omalur Police station and ended in omalur bus stand. The people around the place of this rally were quite receptive and looked positive.

The first International Conference on Recent Trends in Computing and Analytics, ICRTCA 2023 (Hybrid), was held on October 12, 2023, at St. Joseph College of Arts and Science for Women in Pagalpatty, Omalur (Tk), Salem. The programme was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Applications at St. Joseph College, Salem. The conference brought together academicians, researchers, and delegates to exchange knowledge and expertise on the application of technology.

More than 50 NSS students participated in the rally.    The rally was organized to create an awareness on the rapidly growing menace of drug-addiction among youngsters.
